Already 2 days! I can't online from my house in Seremban. The DSL signal is blinking non-stop. My housemates and I do not know what had happened actually.
According to my housemate, the downtime started since Friday 9pm. It happened out of a sudden. That night, I didn't complain much as I was too tired. I slept at 1215am. A new record for me since I entered Obstetric posting.
The next morning, I woke up early. What was the 1st thing I did? On my laptop and rushed to the modem. OMG, the DSL link was still blinking. I told myself, "Never mind, I still have several tasks to be completed. Maybe the signal will be stable later." Then, I started cleaning up my room, filing all my notes and washing my lab coat. Finally, I have completed all the tasks in 3 hours time. The DSL signal was still unstable. Not really a big deal. I can always go to my neighbour's house to online. However, to my surprise, all of them were not in. One in KL, one in Malacca and another one in BP.
Guess what I did? My housemate and I ended up parasiting in HL's house for the whole afternoon just to serf net. We made a report to streamyx but their answer was very disappointing. They needed 2 working days to rectify the problem. Now I agree that Streamyx SUX :)
At night, we still unable to access to internet from home. So, together we cleaned up the whole house. I tried my best to wipe my ceiling fan. I hardly can reach the fan even when I stand on the chair. Still, I completed the cleaning. My neck was so stiff. The task will be easier if I am taller :(
It was really a boring night. I was wondering how am I going to survive these few days. Hopefully I can parasite in my neighbour's house until my connection is fixed :)

eh, 2 working days is expected la no matter what =) And you call on a Saturday. Normally people want to rest 1 also ma right?
Anyway, streamyx in Subang is very efficient. The complaints made are dealt with within 2 days. There was once even the technician came on the 1st day of CNY. So I have no complaints about their helpline, just their internet service. Haha
Now using KH's line. On and off. Really depends on luck. Will try to give pressure to them so that they fix it earlier :)

mine was down for two weeks..
call them dono how many thousand time..
first say 1 day..next 2 days next in this week we will settle..
till my dad got angry..go find their HQ number..
straight away got 2-3 fellas incharge of mine connection...and no need to pay that month punya bill..haha
Sigh... I need internet. Why am I so tortured.
